LipSense is applied using a layering technique and MUST be topped with LipSense Gloss to seal the color.
You can choose any of LipSense's Moisturizing Glosses to wear over your colors, but for the best application and longevity, we suggest you seal your color first with Glossy Gloss and then apply your specialty gloss of choice. Glosses also look great by themselves on bare lips!
How to Apply:
Apply to clean, dry lips.
With lips parted, place LipSense applicator on lip beginning at the outside corner and spread in a fluid, sweeping motion to the opposite corner of the lip without lifting the applicator (do not move applicator back and forth or blot your lips together).
Use three layers for long-lasting results. Let each layer dry about five seconds before applying the next layer.
Finish your look with LipSense moisturizing glosses – to keep your color lasting and your lips moist and plump.

LIPSENSE SHOULD BE APPLIED IN 3 LAYERS
This is just one of the reasons lips become so smooth and soft with consistent use of LipSense. LipSense should be applied in 3 layers:
1st Layer - Touches the skins pH and will begin to break down first and fastest.
2nd Layer - Protected from the bottom, away from the skin's pH, by the first layer.
3rd Layer - Protects the second layer from the top down and prevents sheering of second layer of color by keeping away friction, saliva and the natural environment.
**************If you are not familiar with lipsense products, you might feel a tingling sticky sensation when applying. This is due to the cosmetic grade alcohol in the product and it is actually helping your lips. This sensation goes away immediately upon applying the gloss and will go away the more you use Lipsense products as your lips become more moisturized. Always shake the lip color very well before using to disperse color and the alcohol.
