It is a Japanese sewing box
Showa era, about 80 years ago.
The wood grain is beautiful.
Since it is old, there are fine scratches over time.
The wood on the top lid is slightly raised due to warping.
If I remove the nail from the upper hinge and re-strike it, the gap when the lid is closed may disappear, but it may ruin the antique atmosphere, so I left it as it is.
Hinge nails are easy to loosen.
There is a hidden drawer in the back of the upper storage space.
The wood material is very good, so I think you can use it for a long time.
