    Description

    Here is an attractive cloisonne enameled jewelry or pin tray with marked by the
    Inaba
    workshop and retailed by the famous
    Yamanaka
    store.
    The elegantly rectangular tray is simply decorated with a circular design of a phoenix in white enamel.
    The background is finished with a deep orange-red enameled ground.
    The small tray is in good overall condition, however, at one point, the tray may have had four small legs that were attached to the bottom which are now gone.
    The
    Inaba
    trademark is formed in wire on the center of the reverse side.
    The retailer’s name, “
    Yamanaka
    ,” is impressed on one side, with the other side impressed, “
    Made In Japan
    .”
    The longer side (length) of the rectangular tray is approximately 4.0 inches
    The shorter side (width) of this rectangular tray is approximately 2.75 inches
    Due to the fragile nature of Japanese cloisonné enamels, this item will be double boxed and packed with care.
