Item Description :
This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden box, which was nade about 30 years ago.
One of Japanese traditional craftwork techniques, "Mage-wappa" is used for this plate. "Mage-wappa" is the technique to bend wood by soaking in hot water.
The seal of the artisan is branded on the bottom & on the back side of the lid.
